During September 1997, I was lucky enough to take part on a trip to Poland. During our stay we paid a visit to one of the most notorious places on Earth, the Concentration camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

There are actually two camps separated by a short railway line. The experience of seeing both camps was incredibly moving.

The photos were taken on black & white Ilford film and have been scanned from A4 prints I made during a City & Guilds photography course at evening classes.
