The Hurricanes returned to Birmingham this week for the BUAFL National Championship semi-final.
It was always going to be a tough match, the Lions having already beaten the Hurricanes in the 'Canes biggest defeat of the season earlier this year. The rain held off under very gloomy skies with only a brief shower late in the 4th quarter.
Sadly, the Hurricanes ended up losing the match by a score of 28 - 12.
