The Hertfordshire Hurricanes are back for the BUAFL 2011/12 season which begins with their first game on 6th November.

By way of pre-season preparation they took on the Watford Cheetahs for a friendly scrimmage game at their Hatfield home.

Watford ended their season back in August and are currently on off-season preparation for the 2012 season.

The Hurricanes came away as nominal victors with a score of 28-7, but both sides took away something from the experience which draws the two Hertfordshire sides closer together.
