The Hertfordshire Hurricanes' second game of the season was an away game in the outskirts of Norwich against the UEA Pirates.

The Hurricanes maintained the pressure on their divisional opponents in the harsh winter sunlight at Norwich. However the game was marred with an extremely high penalty rate. Fortunately for the Hurricanes the Pirates were unable to make full advantage of the free yardage they were gifted during the game. Stiffer competition will bite 'Canes on the bum if they don't sort out the penalties.

The Hurricanes won by a score of 54 - 15.

The 'Canes lead the South Eastern Conference after game two.
