The first game of the new year after a posponed match against Kent two weeks earlier, saw the Hurricanes welcome the Brighton Tsunami for the 6th game of the season.

A bright but cold day saw the Hurricanes continue their dominance of the SEC with another 50-plus win, as they ran out 54 ot 7 victors.
